Verici Dx Appoints Paul Pagano, PhD, as Chief of Medical Affairs

Franklin, TN – July 21, 2026 – Verici Dx plc (AIM: VRCI), a developer of advanced clinical diagnostics for organ transplant, today announced the appointment of Paul Pagano, PhD, as Chief of Medical Affairs. In this role, Dr. Pagano will bridge scientific development and commercialization, helping to shape the strategic vision for clinical application of the Company’s transplant diagnostics. He will focus on advancing evidence generation strategies, strengthening medical and scientific communications, and deepening engagement with clinical and academic experts to support the continued adoption and evolution of Verici Dx’s solutions.

Dr. Pagano has over 20 years of experience across chemistry, engineering, and precision diagnostics. Trained at UCLA in translational research, he has authored multiple publications covering directed evolution, microfluidic lab-on-chip technology, resistance mechanisms in targeted cancer therapy, and early disease detection strategies. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer at LungLife AI (LON: LLAI), where he led the development and commercial launch of a best-in-class early lung cancer detection product that was subsequently licensed by a leading liquid biopsy company.

Dr. Pagano earned a BS in Microbiology and Immunology from UC Santa Barbara and a PhD in Pharmacology from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
